I am thrilled to announce that a UW paper, Reverse Traceroute was just awarded the best paper award at the leading research conference on network systems, NSDI 2010.  More information about Reverse Traceroute, and a prototype you can try out, can be found here:

http://revtr.cs.washington.edu/

The paper is the result of a remarkable research collaboration between UW grad students and undergrads.  Congratulations to co-authors UW grad student Ethan Katz-Bassett, UW undergrads Justine Sherry, Colin Scott, and Peter van Wesep, and UW recent PhD grad Harsha Madhyastha!  The paper was co-advised by Arvind Krishnamurthy and myself.
