Summary: DRVision LLC seeks a member to join a high-performance team developing next generation microscopy image recognition software. This is an interim position with potential for permanent employment.

DRVision’s image based decision and machine learning technologies form the basis for its new microscopy image recognition and data analysis software product, SVCell™, which can be used for broad microscopy applications in basic research, drug discovery and disease diagnosis. Launched in October 2006, SVCell changes the way image recognition is done – its teachable interfaces and learning technologies enable users to develop and execute analyses of unsurpassed quality, without requiring a specialist with image processing or pattern recognition expertise. Simple to learn and operate, SVCell provides everything needed to accurately and reliably detect, track, measure, discover, classify, monitor and score cellular and subcellular phenotypes and events in microscopy movies. SVCell’s development is partially funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be a key part of the algorithm development and implementation team developing and testing image processing algorithms.
·  Implement 3D image processing functions, including 3D deconvolution and 3D volume rendering/visualization
·  Develop 2D/3D tracking and its visualization
·  Speed up many existing DRVision core technology algorithms

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION
·  Bachelor of Science
·  Field of study: Computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
·  Strong command in 2D and 3D image processing
·  Working knowledge of C# and/or C++

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
·  Good written and verbal communication skills
·  Ability to work well in team environment
·  Scripting experience
