About Product/Project (not essential, but helpful)
Yahoo! Mail is seeking a self-motivated whitebox QA Engineer with solid technical background to participate in the release of Yahoo! Mail projects. Your primary responsibilities include creating test cases, executing test plans, and participate in shaping our automation tools and strategy.

Job Responsibilities/The Role/The Job:
The individual should have a solid background in computer programming, the passion for creating high quality product, and attention to details. He/She will also get the opportunity to participate in defining and refining various non-functional testing such as load and performance testing of Yahoo! Mail back-end system. The candidate will be expected to communicate clearly and effectively.
Minimum Job Qualifications (the skills, experience, etc. that the person you hire will absolutely have)
* Good understanding of UNIX operating system.
* Good understanding of at least one high level programming languages such as C/C++/Java.
* Proficient in Perl and PHP.
* Strong written & verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Passion for quality.
* Self-starter and able to work individually to solve problems.
* Excellent team player.
Preferable Job Qualifications (any additional qualifications, skills, exp, etc.)
* Experience in HTML, SQL, and XML is a plus.
* Any QA tools – web monitoring, code coverage, memory tools, 3rd parties integration.
