Hello CSE!
This is a friendly reminder that SAC is currently hosting a donation drive to benefit Mary’s Place, an inclusive environment which provides shelter and services to support women, children, and families on their journey out of homelessness.
How can you help? We are looking for all types of essential items, including:
Toiletries – shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, soap, lip balm, hair brushes and combs, pain relievers, band aids
Baby – diapers in larger sizes (4, 5, 6), baby wipes
Food – oatmeal packets, boxes of cereal, individually packaged kids snacks
Clothing – women, men, children and infant clothing, bras and underwear
Art Supplies
Blankets
You can also find this list on our posters located throughout the CSE and CSE2 buildings.
Bring your items for donation to the CSE2 Ugrad Commons or to the ACM Lounge from 9am-5pm until May 6!

What is the SAC? We are a CSE student-run organization and our aim is to foster a positive learning environment for our peers by hosting events and discussion forums. We use input from you, the students, to guide our conversations with staff and faculty which ultimately lead to improvements in the school.

Engineers without Borders is busy planning their Second Annual Impacts Gala. This benefit will feature regional wine, beer & spirits and local music artists. The event will showcase International Projects in Guatemala and Nicaragua, providing networking opportunities for professional and student engineers alike.
This event will be held on Saturday June 1st, 2019 at the Landing at Shilshole Bay on Puget Sound.
General admission to this event will include two beverages of choice and hors d’oeuvres & small-plates. Tickets can be purchased here.
All proceeds will help further international efforts in Guatemala and Nicaragua.

The Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) team for UW EcoCar is looking to expand! CAV is hoping to add a couple of excited undergraduate and graduate students to their team to work on projects such as Vehicle to Everything Communication, Sensor Fusion, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Computer Vision.
