Events for October 6-10
- Oct. 8: Resume Review Workshop (Atrium, 3:00-6:00pm) Admit it, you’re just not sure if that resume you created will help land you the interviews you really want. Not to fear – we’ve got industry reps lined up to come give you pointers on how to create a great resume and the kinds of things that separate the good ones from those that don’t get a second look. HR reps and recruiters from Amazon, Cisco, Evri, Microsoft, Yahoo, and more will sit down with you, look over a draft of your resume, and tell you ways that you can make yours stand out and get noticed. Don’t have 3 hours to spend talking about your resume – good! That’s not the point of this workshop. It’s a drop-in format, so just come by any time between 3-6 p.m. and you’ll be fine. Make sure to bring a few copies of your resume with you!
- Oct. 9: Microsoft Techfest (Atrium, 5:00-8:00 pm (yes, 5pm is the accurate time – disregard all previous messages))
- Oct. 10th: Lunch with the Chair for CSE current undergraduate students 12:30pm-1:30pm, check your CSE email for the location
