Subject: [cs-ugrads] Please read! – Thursday’s Gates Center dedication
There will be some inconveniences on Thursday related to the dedication ceremonies for the Gates Center. Apologies in advance.
- The Research Commons will be dedicated to event attendees from noon-4. (The 1st floor kitchen will be available for your use.)
- The elevators will be dedicated to event attendees from noon-4. (Please use the stairs rather than the elevators.)
- The 4th floor will be dedicated to event attendees. (Check out the 4th floor during the Open House on Friday!)
To be clear, we want our guests to see the building in action! Please use the Gates Center as you normally would, except for the above. And please be friendly to those who wander into your spaces.
Do remember my previous “watch your valuables” email. All cardkey doors will be unlocked on Thursday, and many will be unlocked on Friday. Don’t leave stuff lying around – there will be lots of people wandering around with open access.
