Interested in doing research? ACM Research Night is this Tuesday

Hope you all had a blast at CSE Spring BBQ last night and are having great weekends!

TLDR; ACM Research Night is coming up this Tuesday, May 26th at 4:00pm! It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with professors and grad students to find research opportunities for this summer or next fall. There will be a Q/A session with Professor Franzi Rosener, followed by a reserach lab open house.

More details below and on Facebook:

Have you ever wondered if grad school is right for you? Are you curious about how to apply, what research is like, and what you might get out of pursuing an advanced degree? This is your chance to hear firsthand from some of the CSE graduate students and research faculty! We will be holding a panel discussion on the ins and outs of graduate school prior to ACM Research Night.

We hope to see you there!

Agenda:
4:00-4:30 “Research @UW” Talk EE 105 by Franzi Rosener
4:30-6:30 Visit Grad Students in their native environments (aka research lab open house).

Keep an eye out for the itinerary of participating labs in the next email. It will detail what labs/projects are opening up to students and where to find them.
