If you’re curious about studying abroad, come to our info session on CSE’s three Direct Exchange programs. We send students to three top universities in Europe: ETH in Zurich, Switzerland, KTH in Stockholm, Sweden, and Saarland in Saarbrücken, Germany. We have lots of info on CSE exchanges online, plus more specific info on each school.
CSE Direct Exchange info session
Tuesday Nov 25, 3:30-4:30pm
CSE 691
Speakers include CSE faculty coordinators, past exchange participants, and current visiting students from abroad
Who should attend: Anyone considering a CSE direct exchange in 2015-16 or later
The info session will cover basic details of CSE exchanges, with lots of time for questions. Find out about courses, necessary preparation, expenses, lifestyle, and everything else involved in studying abroad. Students who would like to study abroad next year will apply for an exchange early in Winter quarter — find a full timeline on our page of exchange info. Attending the session on 11/25, and reading through our info online, is the best way to decide if an exchange interests you.
If you’re interested in Germany, you’ll also hear briefly about research and study abroad funding for students visiting Germany, from UW’s Global Opportunities Advisor.
If you’re interested in Switzerland or French-speaking countries, I’ll share a little info on a possible new exchange to EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. This exchange is not yet finalized, but we may be able to send students as early as next year. We are, of course, continuing our popular exchange to ETH Zurich.
