Hey, CSE majors! If you’re interested in studying abroad, check out this info session for AIT Budapest!

AIT Budapest is a study abroad school for students in computing, design, and entrepreneurship. AIT offers courses like Computer Vision for Digital Postproduction, Mobile Software Development, Quantum Probability and Quantum Logic, and many others. You can hear about this in detail from one of AIT’s Professors at the info session next Thursday.

AIT also offers summer internships at major Hungarian software companies including LogMeIn and Prezi.

If you want to study abroad during summer, AIT offers a 5-week summer session from mid-June to the end of July.  You can combine this with the spring term to take additional courses, or just participate in the AIT summer program.

Students contemplating their own tech startup, or with interests in areas such as computational biology, design, or graphics are likely to find the program compelling and rewarding. AIT courses may count toward CSE senior electives.

All classes are in English on AIT’s campus on the banks of the Danube River.  Students live in vibrant neighborhoods of Budapest and have ample opportunities to interact with Hungarian students and explore Hungary and the region. AIT is small and friendly, with typical class sizes of 5-15 students.  Students visit from schools across the US, including Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Harvey Mudd, Princeton, RPI, U. of Puget Sound, UW, and Yale.  The program also includes Hungarian students from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Applications for Spring 2015 are due November 1, applications for Summer are due March 1, and applications for Fall 2015 are due April 1.
