Dessert, Startups, and Machine Learning in 002 @ 7:45 pm

There will be dessert in 002 this evening!

Jason Tan, UW CSE ’06, is the co-founder and CEO of Sift Science, a San Francisco startup that uses large-scale machine learning to defeat cybercrime. He’ll share lessons learned from working at three different startups and running his own, and what he wish he knew when he was an undergrad.

If you want some career advice, and/or want to learn more about applying machine learning to a real world problem, join him and Zorah Fung (UW CSE ’14, Sift Science intern) today for some yummy desserts at 7:45 pm in Lab 002!
