As your new ACM Internal Relations Officer, it will be my job to flood your inbox throughout the year with the latest updates on CSE events, including Career Fair Prep sessions, Hackathons, Tech Talks, and most importantly the whereabouts of free food. If you are a new student, then consider joining ACM! The UW ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) chapter provides many opportunities for CSE undergrads such as Research Nights, ICPC (a programming contest), fun Fall/Winter Fests, and more (for more details, see the attached letter). Membership is only $8 and lasts as long as you are a student here. To join, just bring cash with you to Welcome Night on September 30th. We will have a sign-up table in the atrium.
