Looking for a good excuse to take a break from all the end of quarter studying? Why not participate in a user study with robots? I’m conducting a user study to test out different interfaces for working with robots, and I could use your help. If you’ve got an extra hour to spare sometime this week and would like to spend it playing with a robot, you can sign up for a timeslot here: http://doodle.com/ dfgawauysqbehqyg
All you have to do is show the robot how to do a couple simple tasks (pick up a can, remove a lid) and then fill out a survey. Should be pretty easy! If you’re interested, sign up for an open timeslot using the link above, and then come to CSE 491 at that time. I know Baxter (that’s the name of the robot being used in this study) is looking forward to meeting new people!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you,
Connor Schenck
