Truman & Udall Scholarship Deadline – November 2nd

Harry S. Truman and Morris K. Udall Scholarships

The Truman and Udall Scholarships award students actively involved in leadership and service in their communities and on the UW campus.  Eligible students can receive up to $30,000 for graduate school as a Truman Scholar or up to $5,000 for undergraduate work as a Udall Scholar.  Each scholarship has a strong emphasis on the importance of leadership and commitment to public service.

Applicants for the Truman Scholarship must meet the following:

Attend an accredited college or university.

Be nominated by a Truman Faculty Representative.

Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.

Be in the upper quarter of their junior class.

Applicants for the Udall Scholarship must meet the following:

Must be a sophomore or junior at time of application.

Have a college GPA of a “B” or the equivalent.

Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
