ACM Research Night – May 11th

Hey All,

Wondering how to get in on that AWESOME RESEARCH our department is so well-known for? Looking for a great summer project? Planning on writing a senior thesis, but don’t know where to start?

Come to Research Night on May 11th. Due to the overwhelming number of attendees last Fall, this Spring we’ve split Research Night into two events:

1) Come to EEB 125 at 4:30 for a talk and a panel. Gaetano Borriello will be our faculty speaker, and will be sharing some advice from his experience advising undergrad researchers at UW. The panel will include current undergrad researchers ready to answer your questions about their experiences doing undergrad research. Refreshments will be served!

2) Come to the Atrium at 5:30 for the famous poster session. This is where grad students will be presenting posters about their work, describing their current projects, and filling you in on what undergrads can do to get involved with their research projects. This is your VERY BEST CHANCE to find a sweet project – last Spring we had 17 projects presented!

Keep in mind that this is your chance to find a project for Summer OR Fall, so make sure to plan ahead!
