Startup Weekend is Coming to UW | May 7th – 9th. Starts Friday at 6 PM
Startup Weekend is a 54 hour startup event that provides the networking, resources, and incentives for individuals and teams to go from idea to launch. Get connected with local developers, innovators and entrepreneurs. Build Community. Start Companies. No Talk. All Action. Startup Weekend has been in over 53 cities around the world in just two years, and is a great platform to bring together the local entrepreneurial community to share, learn, network, build, and start new ventures.
Mission: This will be a completely student run event in association with the Startup Weekend Brand. The ultimate goal is to encourage entrepreneurship on University campuses and in communities by using the Startup Weekend model as a great hands-on learning, networking, and application for starting a business…. of course the chance to launch a legitimate startup venture too.
