Your help requested — Monday, 4/12, 2:30-…

Message from John Zahorjan:

“The lab” (support + other technical staff) is in the process of re-evaluating the services it offers, and how it offers them.  It’s meeting with groups of students and faculty to find out what’s working and what’s not working, and to get ideas about how things could be done differently.

There is a meeting tomorrow – Monday, 4/12 – starting at 2:30 (and going no later than 4:00) in CSE 203.

At that meeting, we’d like to hear from people WHO ALMOST NEVER USE THE CSE LABS.  You’re computing somewhere, and we’d like to find out how we can make things better for you.  (And, as you’re not computing in our labs, the only way to get information is to hear from you directly.)

If you can meet with us, that would be much appreciated.

The meeting is in CSE 203.  Advance mail to me indicating that you’re intending to come would be appreciated as well, but isn’t necessary.

Thanks,
John

P.S.  My apologies for this late notice.  Targeted mail was sent to a substantial group of people who our logs indicate never login to our lab machines, but so far almost none have responded — maybe they don’t read their cs mail, or maybe they’re not longer around.  (Our logs aren’t perfect…)

P.P.S.  There will be another meeting with people who do use the labs shortly (most likely on 4/26).
