As I’m sure you are all aware, the Coke Closet has been closed this quarter because of the tremendous loss (~$1500) we suffered last quarter. Your two new ACM Treasurers, Ezra Bradford and Alex Philips, will be responsible for deciding how to go forward next year, so please give them your suggestions and feedback. I would like to reiterate that the Coke Closet is not funded by the Department. This loss is being covered by the ACM itself through membership, t-shirts, and events.
That being said, the tab system needs to be resolved and dismantled. Once that is complete, the remaining inventory will be sold on a cash-only basis. This will likely be close to the system adopted for next year, if any system is adopted at all.
If you have a negative tab balance: please pay it off completely and throw away your card. The more money we get back, the more likely the coke closet will exist in some form next year. Also, it’s not nice to steal.
If you have a positive tab balance: please bring your tab to me during one of the following times next week, or find me around. You will be reimbursed. I will be in 002 next week from 10:30-11:30 on MTWF, and 12:30-1:30 WF. If you cannot make one of those times, please either find me around or email me (stasis at cs) and we will set up a meeting time.
Thank you all for your immense support this last year. I wish last quarter had ended better. Please give your new ACM Treasurers your support. They have a hard job ahead of them if they want to try to bring this privilege back for you.
